Obituary of Herschel Harland Ware

Visitation for Herschel Harland Ware of Foley, MO will be held from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Mr. Ware, 44, passed away Wednesday night, November 25, 2015 at his home near Foley. Born September 27, 1971 in Springfield, IL, he was the son of Herschel H. Ware and Lisa Jane Lash. Herschel was united in marriage on June 12, 1995 in Springfield, IL to Carolyn Ann Brooks. He was employed for several years as a retail clerk at various businesses. He was preceded in death by his father, Herschel Ware; his mother, Lisa Lash; and one brother-in-law, Kevin Brooks. Survivors include his beloved wife of 20 years, Carolyn Ware of Foley; two daughters: Trista Graves of Springfield, IL, and Savannah Ware of Foley; and three grandchildren. He also leaves two brothers: Frank Ware and his wife, Andrea, of Riverton, IL, and Shane Baker of Illinois; one sister, Valerie Baker of Illinois; his father-in-law, Clyde Brooks of Madisonville, KY; three sisters-in-law: Teresa Vincent and her husband, Gene, of Centertown, KY, Kathy Stevens and her husband, Marvin, of Pawnee, IL, and Tanya Brooks of Decatur, IL; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
