Obituary of Christopher John Troeckler

Funeral Services for Christopher J. Troeckler of Moscow Mills, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Mr. Troeckler, 43, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at his home. Born July 4, 1971 in Granite City, IL, he was the son of Jerome Charles and Donna Lee Allard Troeckler. Chris attended Reed Springs High School. He was united in marriage on June 3, 2000 in St. Louis, MO to Linda Darlene Meadows. Their home was blessed with two children: Philip Michael and Lisa Michelle. Chris was employed as a laborer and was a member of the St. Louis Laborers Union, Local #110. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Troeckler; one brother, Thomas Troeckler; and one niece, Dyan Harris. Survivors include his beloved wife of nearly 15 years, Linda Troeckler of Moscow Mills; one son, Philip and his wife, Ivana, of Troy, MO; one daughter, Lisa Potter of Florissant, MO; and one granddaughter, Gemma Faith Potter. Chris also leaves his mother, Donna Troeckler of Arnold, MO; one sister, Stephanie Sheetz and her husband, Dave, of Imperial, MO; three brothers: Steven Troeckler of Stanton, IL, Gregory Troeckler and his wife, Theresa, of Holiday Shores, IL and Charles “Chuck” Troeckler and his wife, Diana, of Edwardsville, IL; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 25, 2015 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
